Ecommerce Optimization manager - Chester - Circa £40,000

The successful Optimization Manager will be optimizing brand leading digital platform - ensuring opportunities to improve acquisition, increase conversion, driving average order value as well as uplifting retention.
You will be balancing planned activity throughout the year by reviewing and action activity against key business initiatives.

You will be focused on translating reports and insights into meaningful and successful hypotheses, which relate back to the overall goal of achieving significant growth through our online channel.

We are seeking a proactive thinker able to work in fast-paced, agile environment and be a regular contributor of ideas and solutions to the ecommerce & marketing teams. Must be able to explain technical challenges/logistics to others that are not technical as part of problem solving and educating.

You must be passionate about technology and maintain leading edge insights into the development trends. Must be willing to educate others on technology/trends so the work and the approach to work can remain innovative and efficient.

You will manage a small, self-organizing team working closely with the Creative Design, Digital Marketing, UX & UI teams.
This is an autonomous role, where people will come to you for your expertise. So its important for you to understand the business priorities and focusing on activities which will bring strong commercial performance and therefore success.

Technical skills required:

* Significant experience in executing MVT tests - this role will be hands on and will require a user expert of an MVT tool, preferably Adobe Target.

* Strong experience and understand of HTML & CSS. Working knowledge of JavaScript and CMS platforms is a bonus.

* Highly numerate and analytical, with proficiency in Excel and Adobe Analytics ideal

* Prior knowledge of Hybris advantageous but not essential
