Scala Developer - Agile/XP/DevOps - central London - CONTRACT
Looking for a highly experienced Scala Developer to join this Agile team of established Scala Developers working on a high profile, high volume, consumer facing project.
The successful Scala Developer will have extensive commercial experience writing scalable web applications using Scala in very strong Agile/DevOps environments (TDD/BDD, Scrum, KanBan, XP, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment).
You will have extensive experience developing RESTful web services, using NoSQL databases (such as DynamoDB or MongoDB) and deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services)
It would be desirable but not necessary to have experience with any other Open Source programming languages such Java, Clojure, Ruby, Python, JavaScript.
Key Skills:
- Scala (3+ years commercial experience)
- Scalable web applications

- NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
