Description

We are currently looking for some skilled C++, Python software engineers to join one of our client's development teams. Our client is working on ground breaking technology which will affect the next decade's way that humans interact with technology. Consequently we are searching and speaking with engineers on a global basis to find the best talent. We are also able to provide sponsorship to engineers who might need it who are currently located outside the EU should it be required.

Role & responsibilities

Working in a dynamic Software Team, creating, developing, writing and testing robust and quality code for a wide range of our clients embedded software products.

Job description: This position works within a team of software engineers to deliver models framework of our client's world leading image and video processing algorithms. Duties will include:

- C++ models framework development and testing
- Models vs RTL co-verification
- Algorithms implementation

Skills Required:
- C++: Excellent
- Python: Excellent
- Good mathematics background

Desirable skills:
- VHDL (or Verilog): basic

Experience Required:
- Solid experience of embedded systems development within a commercial development environment.
- Previous experience within image processing would be a distinct advantage
- Experience of dealing with customers and ability to support customers with integration issues

Other Requirements:

- Minimum first degree at 2:1 or above in a relevant technical subject. Master's preferred
- This position is within a tight knit team so the successful candidate must be able to work well with colleagues and possess good communication skills.
- The candidate must be highly motivated, keen to make a real contribution to the development of our client's range of IP and software products.
