We are looking for a
Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Assure ingredients and formulas are in full compliance with laws and regulations in countries where they are sold
  • Issue mandatory labelling for products and approve final artwork and text for product packaging to ensure regulatory requirements are met or exceeded
  • Monitor regulatory activities in assigned markets, determine current and expected regulatory status of new ingredients and additives; research interpretations regarding the safety and acceptability of products and ingredients, and assure that SRA databases are up to date and contain the best current information
  • Participate in project teams, anticipate regulatory issues and collaborate with legal counsels, consultants, suppliers, trade associations and external partners to clarify and resolve these issues
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of documentation to regulatory agencies and other external bodies required to substantiate and approve claims and to obtain approval of new ingredients
  • Lead S&RA projects, and assist in more complex projects, some with global scope and impact
  • Perform other regulatory related assignments as needed


Your qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area, such as nutrition, food science, biology, chemistry or pharmacology
  • In-depth experience in regulatory affairs regarding food products, preferably with focus on Europe (this includes excellent knowledge regarding food ingredients and European health claims legislation)
  • Experience in working with trade associations and government agencies to clarify and resolve regulatory matters
