My client a world leader in their chosen market sector is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to be based onsite in Central London for 12 months.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting all areas of day-to-day finance and commercial operations. They will provide financial analysis and reporting for strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting to meet requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in an a financial analyst capacity.
Principal Accountabilities:
*Prepares structured daily, weekly and monthly financial reports. Involving the creation of new reports and maintenance of existing reports
*Responsible for revenue, pipeline, compliance & utilization, cost & expense, T&E and DSO reporting.
*Provides detailed financial analysis on both revenue and cost drivers including: insights to the commercial teams to support strategic decision making.
*Creation of monthly forecast submissions from the country finance leads.
*Manages forecast quality checks to ensure the submitted forecast is reliable. Produces forecast variance drivers.
*Coordinates all monthly and quarterly end submissions ensuring accuracy/quality of submissions and adherence to Corporate and other deadlines
*Plays a key role in the preparation of the annual plan/budget.
*Ensures key deliverables are submitted including management of the transfer and restatement process.
*Implements budget quality checks and feeds back issues to the relevant teams.
*Manages the cost base
Education Required:
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance and experience in financial planning and analysis.
Essential Skills:
*Previous commercial experience in a finance analyst capacity
*Financial reporting or accounting packages
*MS Access
*MS Excel
*MS Word and PowerPoint
