Senior Electrical Circuit / Design EngineerI am working with a global reputable company who are currently looking to take on a Senior Electrical Circuit/Design Engineer who has a solid background and hands on experience in the design of HV substation projects, and protection and control systems.
The role:
- Electrical design of substation layouts, equipment's, connections, and its components.
- Reviewing designs of substation layouts.
- Liaising with client and feeding back to project managers and design team.
- You will provide hands-on experience in project execution from conceptual design, feasibility studies and front-end design activities to detailed design.
To be considered for the role, you will require the following:
- 15 years experience within the energy/power sector.
- Experience designing and reviewing substations layouts, cable layouts and connections and any equipment associated within the energy transmission and distribution sector.
- Experience in designing and reviewing plant layouts, cable routing layouts, and producing cable sizing calcs, AC/DC load calcs, relay setting calculations.
- Experience reviewing substation designs 132kv and above.
- Minimum 5 years experience in protection and control systems.
- National Grid Persons qualified
- Experience managing a small team of electrical designers.
Specifics:
Duration : 6 Month Minimum contract duration
Rate : £35 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
