Maintenance Engineer - CONTRACT

Duration: 3 months
A key client of mine is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to come in on a 3 month contract with a view to go permanent. This role will involve travel across the UK, most of which will be in the South East and South West of England, a vehicle will be provided and expenses paid. The Maintenance engineer will be working on sites that have been designed and built by my client mainly in universities or horticultural facilities.
The M & E in these facilities consists of the following:
* Heating and cooling equipment including boilers and chillers.
* Pumps.
* General Plumbing
* Air-handling units
* Supplementary lighting systems
* General Electrics
* A general knowledge regarding the operation of building management systems would be helpful as we have remote access into most of our client's system.
Our current practice is that any specialised equipment such as chillers, boilers, autoclaves etc. are normally serviced by the manufacturers under separate subcontracts so the requirement from our engineers is a capability of identifying a problem on call-outs before referring to the manufacturer.
