FPGA Verification Engineer / Xilinx / Contract / Edinburgh

Location: Edinburgh

Rates: £40-43 per hour

Duration: 6 months initial

My Edinburgh based Client is a leading technology firm well known in the industry as a primary supplier and pioneer in their field.

I am currently recruiting an experienced ASIC Verification Engineer for a 6 month project work on the verification team on all stages of the verification and validation of a new functional block for the next generation device.

You will be creating a test plan, developing testbenches in SystemVerilog ensuring comprehensive test scope and making sure criteria is met for the product.

Skills/experience:

FPGA / ASIC design

FPGA / ASIC test practices

Verilog RTL simulation

Developing verification and functional coverage plans

Analyzing and isolating RTL and test bench issues

Extensive experience with SystemVerilog and OVM/UVM

Working with C models and C code

Experience with Xilinx devices would be beneficial
