Description
ETL Senior Developer/ETL Lead
A strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter usage and developments (version9.x) is essential. Along with a strong knowledge of Informatica Architecture. We are looking for at least 5 years experience in ETL Project using Informatica PowerCenter. A minimum of 1 year of experience leading ETL Projects. This ideal candidate will be able to provide an excellent level of documentation. Technical skills in Scripting in Windows/Linux. Data Profiling experience, Datamodelling experience and Data Analyst experience is also essential. A good knowledge of Informatica Standards (Best Practices).
The Role:
oPerform ETL flow development
oUndertake detailed functional analysis of high level business requirements (provided by the Business Partner organisation).
oProduce details business & system requirements (both functional and non-functional) document to be used by in the design process
oOwns a deep functional knowledge of a system and understands the technical implications for modification of a specific function of a system
oProvides consultation and recommendation for improvements, new solutions and modifications
oWork with Solution Specialist from work streams/SDM Project area to validate and complete detailed functional design document for IF requirements
oIf required, Design Integration Architecture Diagram and review with Architecture team
oCreate Interface Specifications
oWrite & maintain the solution High Level Technical Design for IF requirements
oWrite & maintain the solution Detailed Technical Design (Logical & Physical Design) for IF requirements (Including Solution monitoring and Detailed SLA for Interfaces, capacity planning, Impact analysis)
oDesign Development Environment (in case of non-existence)
oParticipate in updating Regulatory (Data) & Security Checklist (if Applicable)
oObtain Sign Off on IF Technical Design
oUpdate Application map/interface/cartography
oCreate/Update Technical Interface Inventory Documentation
oDefine Interfaces Test Strategy for project, aligning with SDM Test Team
oDefine Interfaces Deployment Strategy for project
oCreate/Review Deployment/Cutover Checklist
oParticipate in Service Transition activities (change management tickets, go-live acceptance, etc.)
