Driving improvements and delivering changes, our Access Network Design team make sure that our network remains the biggest, the fastest and the best. Joining them as Senior Designer - Femto/Rural, we'll look to you to deliver RAN Performance KPI, Optimisation processes, and Designs & solutions for the Rural Coverage solutions and their interworking with the EE Macro Network. It's all part of making sure customers enjoy the best network experience possible.
What you'll do:
- Define the RAN Performance KPI & monitoring processes, RAN "Customer experience" KPI & testing methodology, and RAN Performance & Optimisation processes
- Provide in-depth analysis of RAN & Customer experience KPI trends, failure causes & tract protocols to identify key End to End performance problems & improvement opportunities
- Deliver appropriate RAN Design solutions to ensure RAN Performance & Customer experience KPI Targets are maintained/exceeded
- Work with other teams to ensure appropriate End to End solutions are delivered so RAN Performance & Customer experience KPI targets are maintained/exceeded
- Evaluate new features and technology to drive continuous improvement in RAN Performance & Customer experience KPI
- Be responsible for the timely delivery of technical solutions to meet defined commercial objectives within a network domain
You'll definitely:
- Come from a lead designer role in the mobile telecommunications industry
- Know a thing or two about managing relationships with suppliers and third-parties
- Be able to provide technical solutions, process definition for network performance, and optimisation of GSM/WCDMA & LTE systems
- Have a track record of on-time, on-budget and to-specification delivery
- Bring good communication skills and have the ability to broker agreement across teams
- Have in-depth knowledge of GSM/WCDMA/LTE signalling, troubleshooting & optimisation
