Forensic Accountant - Edinburgh - 3 months
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced forensic accountant for a 3 months contract in Edinburgh with our public sector client, our client is looking for someone to start the week commencing 1st February (ideally).
You will be required to carry out a review within the estates department to provide assurances that appropriate processes have been followed and interrogate master files for omitted standing data. You will also be required to investigate and analyse the pattern of spend, investigate sample numbers of supplier to determine whether agreed rates are being applied and analyse the pattern of spend with a number of supplier.
Essential skills -
- Knowledge of using IDEA interrogation software
- Background in Investigations
- Forensic Accounting, Data Analysis skills & forensic computing background (minimum of 3 years)
- Experience in conducting assignments in large corporate organisations
- Experience in preparation and presentation of findings and recommendation to senior audience
- Preparation of written reports.
