Description
We are looking for a senior Ab Initio Developer to support the Trade Support & Reconciliation applications and processes. The mission involves developing/maintaining Ab Initio interfaces around applications such as Corona, Heliograph and Asset Arena, as well as helping out in various technical migrations.
Database:
Sybase 15,MS SQL 2003, MS SQL Query Analyser,Oracle, Oracle P/L SQL Developer/CAST, Competent construction of SQL queries,Any Datamodelling tools or techniques would be of advantage
Development Tools:
UNIX Shell Scripting - (Required), AbInitio/Elementum (Required), batch and continuous based development experience (Can be trained if sufficient UNIX experience).
Message Queueing:
IBM WebSphere MQ Series, AbInitio queues. Knowledge of standard message formats such as XML - (Required)
Previous work experience of at least 4 years in the financial sector, and on AbInitio.
In this role you will be expected to take responsibility for your own projects and see them from start to finish without the need for guidance - Experience managing a team would be preferable.
