Job Responsibility:
1) Business Impact Analysis of Changes related to the existing Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence applications
2) Responsible for managing business, user and technical/functional requirements
3) Understand the BI Architecture and recommend optimization techniques
4) Tool comparison of different BI, ETL and database technologies
Required Skills and experience:
Technical Skills:
Primary -
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the BI/DW space
Good understanding of Data Warehousing architectures and BI applications
Strong analytical and outcome-based reasoning ability
Hands-on experience with database programming, ETL mappings & BI report development
Strong communication skills having worked on onsite engagements
Secondary -
Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
Hands-on experience with Cognos Report Builder & Metadata Layer
Experience with projects in Travel domain
- 8 -14 years of experience in designing and developing DW/BI applications for disparate domains and clients
- Very strong SQL and programming skills in interfacing with databases
- Sound understanding of physical database structures and I/O processes
- Sound consulting skills and capability to define processes and frameworks
