Proteus Europe is searching for some skilled Electronic Engineers with a good background with PCBs working for a well-respected sensor development company.Our Client :-
You will be working in a well-respected company that specialise in building sensors for a wide range of sectors including oceanographic, maritime, environmental, defence, homeland security and industrial process control markets. With a history of 50 years in this market they have a well-deserved established reputation for innovation and excellence.
Your New role :-
You will have at least five years experience and specific expertise in analogue circuit design preferably in an instrumentation development environment.
The role itself will involve mixed signal design including pre- amplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing and analogue- digital conversion for precision instrumentation applications. Some experience or knowledge of microprocessor based circuit design and embedded software would be desirable.
You will be working independently ad sometime as a member of a team contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design and development into production. As part of normal quality procedures you will be expected to produce design documentation and test specifications as you go along.
Practical skills would be desirable but not essential. In addition you will be expected to provide technical support to the sales and Marketing team for bidding / proposal writing and technical assistance to the Customer Support Manager and Production Department.

Essential Skills :-
- Basic Analog components / circuits
- Operational Amplifier circuits
- Power supply technology
- Circuit analysis, modelling and theory
- Analog-Digital Conversion
- Interfacing and IO (e.g. I2C and SPI bus)
- CAD Schematic layout
- CAD PCB design
Desirable Skills :-
- Assembler and/or embedded C
- Use of PAL/FPGA technologies
- Linux
- Fault finding
