Proteus Europe is searching for a Back-end Web Developer for our client in Brussels -Job Description
The main tasks for the Back-end Web Developer role are:
- Develop technical analysis based on a functional analysis documents;
- Participate in functional working group meetings and project progress meetings;
- Contribute to the estimation of effort / cost, time and resources necessary for the success of each project to the agreed terms of reference;
- Program information systems and / or the technical and architectural components on basis of a file specification;
- Manage the code control procedure;
- Implementation of unit testing, regression and integration;
- Make a corrective, adaptive and evolving existing applications;
- Apply the quality control rules, in cooperation with the quality assurance team;
- Provide assistance during deployments and system configurations;
- Carry out technical prototypes and comparatively evaluate candidate technologies;
- Write or update the technical documentation;
- Assist in the writing of manuals and training users; This list is not exhaustive. Any other task necessary to achieve the objectives of the Directorate in relation to the profile of the requested service may be required.
Job Requirements
Experience 4 Spring, JPA, Hibernate, JMS, SQL, Java servlet container / application server
- Experience in Ajax, parsing and serialization (bp JSON, XML), REST, XHTML, HTML5 and CSS.
- Experience in applications using HTTP Caching techniques.
- Experience in Lucene and ElasticSearch
- Maven and Subversion Experience.
- Modular development experience (bp modules Maven, Nexus, etc.)
- Experience with application in a Continuous Delivery development team (Continuous
Integration, Automated Testing, Automated Deployment, etc.)
- Experience in new business technologies (bp thymeleaf, Freemarker).
- Experience developing web applications using Responsive Design
- Experience developing applications - single-page-
- Experience writing unit tests
- Experience IntellJ, TeamCity is a plus.
- Oracle development experience is a plus
- Experience in a generation framework PDF (FOP, iText, other) would be a plus.
- Experience in Web Accessibility is a
- Experience in environments based on Unix is a plusOrganisational Unit
