Description
SQL SSIS ETL Developer, Banking, Contract, £500pdSQL SSIS Developer with some C# programming skills is required by one of my banking clients based in London; the banking client of mine has a growing demand to bring on another SQL SSIS specialist developer to work within their strong team to provide solutions for their reporting platform.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a SQL SSIS specialist with some C# skills to work for a very well organised team that has good buy-in from their business users as the reporting platform that they are able to provide. As the SQL SSIS specialist developer you will be required to work closely with the business to configure and develop ETL code using SQL as well as utilising some C# code and troubleshoot it, you will also be required to Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshoot SQL Server applications.
The SQL database team is structured to provide efficient solutions for the business and their flow of data, therefore a previous background of investment banking or banking is mandatory for this role. This team will require you to extract transact and load data from their internal source systems including SQL databases and provide efficient solutions that will enhance the systems performance, you will also be required to understand some C# code as well.
This is a contract position with the current market rates at a maximum of £500pd.
Essential skills:
Solid background in SQL SSIS Development including performance optimisation
Strong T-SQL programming skills
There may also be an option to utilise SSAS within the analytic area of these projects.
Some C# programming ability
Investment banking or banking background a mandatory requirement, ideally credit or market risk would be beneficial.
