I am urgently seeking a scientific/creative minded embedded systems design engineer for a key client, who are a global leader in design and innovation within their field.Based in Wiltshire, the site offers the latest, and consistently updated, manufacturing and design facilities and employ only the best candidates within their respective fields.
The successful candidate will be a skilled embedded engineer who is creative and methodical, with great communication skills.

The role:
- Innovate projects
- Provide technical consultancy to the Electronics and Software Department, advising on solutions to difficult problems
- Generation of product ideas and design concepts
- Specification and analysis of requirements
- Design, development and documentation of prototype units
- Transfer of prototype concept to Development Departments for formal product development
- Identifying and writing patent applications
- Investigating new technology and methods
Key Skills:
- Proficient in C and ability to develop capability in other languages as required
- UML or similar methods
- Knowledge of mechatronic principles and practice
- Ability to understand systems from both a systems viewpoint and a detailed component viewpoint
