iOS Developer - Upto £390 - Manchester(iOS, Objective-C, CoreData, Cocoa, iPad, iPhone, Apple, Mobile, Apps, App, Application, Development)
Role: iOS Developer
Rate: Upto £390 per day
Location: Manchester
Contract length: 3 month rolling contract (Likely 6 - 12 months)
This is a fantastic opportunity for an iOS developer looking to work with a company striving to provide very best in mobile applications. Due to the majority of the companies business coming down the mobile route, they are now looking to invest heavily in improving and perfecting their existing application with a brand new Greenfield application.
In order to do this, they are investing heavily in bringing in the best developers on the market on both iOS and Android. The successful candidates will have the following skills and traits:
- Highly skilled in objective-c (although swift is a bonus, they are not looking to write the app in it yet)
- Worked on the latest versions of iOS 8 and soon to be 9
- Experience with iOS frameworks (such as Cocoa Touch, Core Animation)
- Dependency Management (Such as Cocoa Pods)
- Familiarity with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Automated Testing, Continuous Integration
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GitHub)
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Working to Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Confluence, JIRA etc)
They are looking to start people as soon as possible and so interviews can be arranged as soon as possible (generally within 24-48 hours notice). They are however also willing to wait for the right people who may be in contracts or permanent roles.
