Systems Engineer - Aerospace - BuckinghamshireAn aerospace client of Progressives are looking for 2 x Systems Engineers on a contract basis. The Successful Systems Engineer while require the following skills:
General
Essential General Good experience of electronics/systems design in aerospace Able to suggest and apply practical and economic solutions to any problems encountered Able to communicate succinctly and accurately about technical issues with internal and external customers and the project team Good communication skills both verbally and in writing Work effectively with other team members Proactively able to manage own work in order to achieve agreed objectives Good application of Microsoft packages and relevant software for the role
Specific
Conversant with system design practice
Good level of experience with formal requirements and their negotiation, validation, verification and management
Conversant with safety critical architectures
Familiar with circuit design, analysis, test and modelling techniques for analogue and digital circuitry
Familiar with software design
Familiar with DO254
Familiar with DO178B
Familiar with DO160
Familiar with ARP4754A
Familiar with the manufacturing techniques used for aerospace electronics
Familiar with system modelling in MATLAB/SIMULINK
Familiar with DOORS
Commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough, Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire.
