Job Description
- Able to analyze and document applications flows into an application and infrastructure architecture, be it cloud-/web-based or Legacy
- Possesses a strong command of architecture and troubleshooting methodologies in conjunction with a security-minded approach
- Able to interact with business people, application leads, relco's and technical engineers based on this infrastructure architecture
- Able to analyze and document infrastructure components into an infrastructure architecture (high level design + detailed technical design)
- Able to interact, and give support to IT people, operational teams and subject matter specialists based (for example Firewall, Proxy) on this infrastructure architecture
- Able to translate application architectures into infrastructure architectures - detailed technical designs, based upon existing documentation and feedback from the people involved in a particular application
- Able to interact with other designers from the planning center and follow and understand their processes
- Excellent understanding of network protocols and technology stacks (systems and applications) is necessary
- Extensive & experienced hands - on track record is an asset in dealing with undocumented applications
- Configuration and utilization of network tools specialized in packet capture tools, performance management, troubleshooting and forensics analysis.
- Ability to analyze network traces in order to understand components dialogs and relationships (session level & packet level)
- Technical Architect expertise knowledge on:
°Unix (Solaris) & Linux technology
°Operating Systems - Clustering - Virtualisatie - Hardware
°Hypervisors (VMware - HyperV -
°Operating Systems (Unix (Solaris) & Linux technology (RedHat family )
°OS Clustering frameworks
°Server Hardware
* Nice to have's:
- Knowledge of ITIL, CobIT and ISO standards
- IAM expertise desirable, including public key infrastructure, Identity & Web access management and Federation standards.
- Large environment and/or datacenter migration experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISO27001
