My client is currently looking to recruit a Scala Middleware Developer for a 6 month contract based in Leicestershire
Brief Description of Role/Job Content
Develop integration Middleware between mobile apps and core Back End systems including API creation and management. Must be able to understand end to end design patterns and have the ability to design, redesign or design around architectural stacks.
Scala programming - Mandatory - Strong
Play! Framework - Mandatory - Strong
Akka - Mandatory - Strong
Apache Camel - Desirable
ActiveMQ or similar Message Queuing Technology - Desirable
CA Layer 7 API management - Desirable
RESTful APIs - Mandatory - Strong
Couchbase - Desirable
CouchDB or other noSQL Database technologies - Mandatory - Competent
