Scala Middleware Developer - 6 month contract - Start ASAP
My Leicester based client is currently looking to recruit a Scala Middleware Developer required for an initial 6 month contract position based in Leicester. Sopra Steria Recruitment, working in partnership with one of the best known brands in the utilities marketplace, is recruiting a Scala Middleware Developer for a 6 month contract.
This Scala Middleware Developer role will require candidates with a proven track record in:
Mandatory
- Scala programming
- Play! Framework
- Akka
- RESTful APIs
- CouchDB or other noSQL Database technologies
Desirable
- Apache Camel
- ActiveMQ or similar Message Queuing Technology
- CA Layer 7 API management
- Couchbase
Role purpose
Develop integration Middleware between mobile apps and core Back End systems including API creation and management. Must be able to understand end to end design patterns and have the ability to design, redesign or design around architectural stacks.
