Description
Our client is seeking to fill a temporary Senior Marketing Manager Energy position as maternity leave cover. This position will report to the Head of Marketing - Commodities. The role will be responsible for strategic planning, implementation and measurement of strategic marketing and customer experience deliverables. The role will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders such as Head of Energy, Regional Marketing teams, Product Management, Sales, as well as external partners. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of creation, implementation and measurement of highest quality B2B marketing standards and customer experience and have a good knowledge of financial markets, with energy or commodities experience preferred.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work across various business functions and represent Marketing across horizontal teams to follow business and product development objectives and priorities, and provide marketing recommendations and deliverables to meet these objectives. Coordinate marketing deliverables for the Energy sector with other client facing teams such as PR, Regional Marketing and Sales
- Work closely with subject matter experts such as analysts, journalists and product managers to identify business opportunities in the energy market, originate and develop marketing programs to maximize revenue and share of voice
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing
- Experience leading and coordinating complex projects that span geographies and business units, as well as metrics driven marketing campaign planning, execution and assessment
- Financial markets knowledge essential, energy or commodities expertise preferred
- Demonstrate broad marketing expertise, as well as have a success track record in multi-channel marketing & sales
- Success in strategy and integration of new marketing technologies
- Proven experience outlining and executing annual marketing plans
- Must demonstrate a capability to deliver consistent messages and marketing themes to the organization to maximize the effectiveness of each area that touches our customers
- Must be an individual with initiative and a solutions-orientation
- Highly collaborative individual with proven ability to work well within a Matrix organization, working with stakeholders to manage resources and achieving internal customer satisfaction through the successful delivery of marketing services
- Must possess excellent marketing communication skills, strong marketing insight and have a high degree of customer orientation
- Strong presentation skills that foster and expand relationships within the organization
- Experience working directly with senior-level business leaders
- Strong internal and external communicator; strong project management, budget management and influencing skills
