Oracle VM Server/Oracle VM Manager Expert
Oracle VM Server/Oracle VM Manager Expert sought for a shorter term contract opportunity of 3 weeks based in Copenhagen/Denmark.
We are seeking a Consultant who can help with the following issues related to the construction of an Oracle SPARC environment. That is, a person who has in-depth experience in OVM-SPARC and T7-platform hypervisor and domaining design that can help creating a blueprint our client can work from.
Below are samples of the areas the client will need assistance with.
1. Building Oracle VM Management infrastructure:
A. Oracle Enterprise Management Ops Center 12c
- Prerequisites, sizing, installation, sync the repositories from Oracle (it took 4+ days ..), building deployment plans, provisioning profiles, roll-out of firmware updates, etc.
- Debugging of Ops Center functionality, opportunities, limitations etc. Many iterations of bare-metal provisioning of T7 with Oracle VM Server for SPARC image.
B. Oracle VM Manager 3.3.3
- Pre-requisites, sizing, installation. Installation of OVS agents on T7 hypervisor-OS.
- Debugging of OVMM functionality, opportunities, constraints, etc.
- C. Temporary DNS service
- forward zone and Reverse zone
- When the permanent AD/DNS infrastructure is ready, transfer of records to KBNI. Then reconsiliation and testing of the installed OS instances on new resolver IP's.
2) Generic Solaris OS design
3) Design and implementation of Virtualization infrastructure/Hypervisor on T7
4) Design and implementation of Solaris Cluster at T7 guest domains to support MQ HA.
