For a longer term project at an international bank in Zurich we are looking for an experiencedIT Business Engineer/Analyst - Order Processing / Regulatory (3610)
In this interesting role, you will serve as subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with vendor and in-house developed applications. You will document functional requirements, analyse requirements in the context of software and processes, develop test plans, assist with and document business process improvement efforts, and work with production issues.
Your qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in Banking/Financial Industry: processes: trading & execution; advisory & sales
- Regulatory experience, PRIIP's if possible or alternatively MIFID
- Experience with Structured Products, Listed and OTC are an advantage
- 5+ years' experience in IT requirements engineering space: elicitation, specification, modelling and quality assurance, features, use cases, non-functional requirements, epics, user stories, UML
- Experience in Data Analysis, good knowledge of SQL for data analysis
- Agile (Scrum) approaches working with JIRA/Confluence etc.
- Critical eye is essential to shape the requirements into an achievable design of the platform
- Engaging communicator, comfortable with negotiating with stakeholders
- Inquisitive, adaptable, creative, able to deliver value in innovative way
- Care about the details yet able to think and act strategically, maintain focus on project and strategic goals
- Fluency in English
About the role:
- Gather requirements from business units and translate those into system requirements
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Specify technical interfaces between systems, data (flow) analysis
- Liaise with business and IT stakeholders to identify requirements
- Create IT supplier requests and align with IT suppliers
- Respond to business enquiries and ad-hoc analysis tasks
- Guide and support the testing phase
