My client, a leading domestic bank, has an opening for a senior Finance Manager on a long term contracting basis. The successful candidate will be leading a range of financial control and reconciliation activities in order to support the wider bank stakeholder community.
This role is to lead the Banking Management team with responsibility for:
- Maintenance and control of the Banks Non Personal Accounts.
- User Access Management of a number of systems and databases.
- A large number of reconciliations which perform a check between the data produced from various source systems to the balances reported on Regional NPAs, including settlement and investigation of outstanding balances.
- SAP Journal processing for various Business Units in an agency capacity.
- Processing of SAP Journals of inter- system and money transmission settlements to support external settlement processes for Card & Loan Services within FBS.
Capabilities
- Project management skills
- Planning, organisation and prioritisation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have significant equivalent relevant experience
- Able to develop expert understanding of relevant financial systems and processes
- Ability to cope with and implement change
- Commercial awareness of market and industry environment
