Your main concern will be improving an existing Ruby on Rails application, as well as a few other Ruby applications. There’s a front-end component, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS generated by SASS.
Together with your peers, you will be responsible for the technical design, implementation and code quality of the features you're assigned to work on. We work on sprints and weekly delivery, and you’ll be expected to manage your own time as well as to get the requirement details to your assigned work direct with the client.
Main tasks:
-Design, code and test Rails/Ruby applications
-Work on every level of the stack - front-end to storage, and everything in between
-Review code
-Add tests to code and write testable code
About you:
-Written and spoken English (must be fluent)
-Business minded: ability to think about the result, and not only the process
-Programming experience in Ruby, Python, Perl or similar dynamic language
- Web development technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Knowledge about Linux/Unix toolchain
-Bonus points: experience in agile development processes
