Empiric are working with a leading retail bank with key operational presence in Edinburgh.
The Credit Risk area is responsible for providing an effective Credit Risk management framework that enables early identification, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting of credit risks within the bank.
They are looking for a Credit Risk Systems Decisioning manager with strong Credit risk and stakeholder skills to help with the optimisation and transitioning of credit risk systems. This is essentially a business/change role although an understanding of technology and systems is essential.
Responsibilities to include:
- Support the definition and delivery roadmap for Credit Systems strategy for the bank; including application decisioning and customer management across Retail and Commercial portfolio.
- Definition of business cases including financials to secure necessary funding to deliver against the strategy.
- Engaging with key business and technology stakeholders, lead the production of business requirements to support system selection and ensuing functional design.
- Business lead for the delivery of strategic Credit systems ensuring delivery of defined requirements and systems which align to the strategic vision; working across multiple business areas to ensure delivery is effectively planned, delivered and transitioned to BAU.
- Evaluate third party data and services to provide recommendations which enhance portfolio risk management.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of Decision Platforms, preferably in a Credit Risk environment.
- Experience of collaborating with multi disciplined teams to design an deliver solutions.
- Working knowledge of Credit Risk and automated decisioning techniques
- Understanding of Credit Reference Agencies and the data and services which they provide.
- Strong Stakeholder management and communication skills to engage and influence across Senior levels
This is a contract role for an initial period of 6 months with a good chance of extension. The rate will be from £500-£550 per day
