Description
A global Renewable Energy client is looking for a consultant working as an Electrical Power System Engineer to work on its offshore wind farm project.
Our client is looking for an Electrical Power System Engineer to review results from energisation analysis (already performed) to be included in the report, de-energisation studies, lightening studies, surge arrester setting verification, fault studies, insulation coordination study report (with the results from items above). This is a 3.5 month freelance contract, starting 11th April 2016 up until approx. 31st July 2016 with the possibility of extending further. This is a full time position, 5 days a week, 8 hrs. a day in average.
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with the use of PSCAD and Power Factory.
- Must have experience with electro-magnetic transient studies including insulation coordination studies in PSCAD, corresponding IEC/IEEE standards and have previous experience with all the tasks listed in the job description as well as with preparing insulation coordination studies report.
- Must be able to work independently
- The Consultants will be required to bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone.
- The Consultants must have his/her own PPE equipment (Personal Protection Equipment)
