Software Engineer - Buckinghamshire - PermanentComputer Futures are currently working with client based in Buckingham, who are looking for a Software Engineer to join their team.
The company has been growing since the 1970's, and are now one of the UK's leading companies for helping to maximize your driving pleasure through engine tuning.
The environment is fast-paced and exciting. The successful candidate will be working on new development projects supporting C# or C++ as well as maintenance of existing work. This position is offering career progression, with more responsibility available if the engineer is doing well and working hard. You will be joining a team of 2 other engineers, who are very experienced.
Essential Requirements:
Ability to program in C++ and C#
Proven working experience in software engineering or Degree in computer science or engineering
Good understanding of PHP and JavaScript
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills, as the role will involve an element of customer facing interactions.
Desirable Requirements:
Knowledge of relational databases mySQL
Hands on experience of designing interactive applications and web services
Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
The working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. My client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package including bonus and pension.
