For a longer term project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

IT Business Analyst - PB Collateral Management Application (3651)

This is an exciting and challenging role as IT Business Analyst to contribute in a complex regulatory environment (Margin Rule Program/MRP). The project is also part of a global, bank wide initiative in place to implement new regulatory Margin Rule requirements (BCBS/IOSCO). The succesful candidate will have the opportunity to learn an existing and new PB Collateral Management application suite.

Your qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related subject; alternatively an equivalent education or working experience within one of these fields
  • 6+ years' professional experience, as a Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer
  • Min. of 2 years within a complex matrix-structured environment in the financial/banking sector
  • Sound understanding of structured requirements engineering in banking area, preferably with knowledge in collateral- and/or risk management
  • Solid experience in Stakeholder Management,
  • Solid experience in working in complex and time-critical regulatory projects
  • Flexibility and experience to work on both agile and waterfall projects with the relevant knowhow in both methodologies
  • Knowledgeable in integrating new business processes, interfaces and system changes
  • Understand business processes, review & suggest improvements. Suggest ways to automate business processes
  • Know-how in Visio, Jira, MS Office applications
  • Excellent English language skills, preference will be given to candidates who are also fluent in German


Your responsibilities:
  • Responsibility and accountability to ensure delivery on time and in budget as well as in terms of cost, schedule, quality, client relationship with business, IT and other Collateral stakeholders
  • Ensure architecture compliance in collaboration with CMU functional and domain architects
  • Responsibility to successfully establish and manage project governance structure and delivery processes and driving enhancements at project and program level
  • Accountability to establish and maintain a professional and sustainable stakeholder relationship with IT stakeholders, business partner and sponsors
  • Opportunity to manage requirement dependencies (MRP) with all interfacing projects, applications and deliverables and helping to define standards and best practices
  • Responsible for interpreting business requirements, writing functional and non-functional requirements specification, supporting functional testing and providing solution approaches in case for production issues
