Senior C++ Software Engineer - Ongoing Contract -Milton Keynes Area
Our Client is currently in the market for a Senior C++ Software Developer to work on an ongoing programme of works. The initial engagement is for 3 months but this will extend, and the project scope is certainly there for a minimum of 24 months.
The core requirements for the role are as follows -
- Core Development of C++ based Back-End components.
- Acting as an SME for Back-End systems, liaising with stakeholders throughout the business.
- A proven track record of C++ development on long term contract sites.
- Experience of development in a Linux environment
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Exposure to OOD
- Exposure to real-time, fault tolerant services
- Knowledge of automated testing
- Virtualization and cloud computing
- Agile/Scrum
- SQL
- Perl/Python
- Git
