Contract Data Architect - Dublin
My client, a technology company in Dublin (UK), requires a contract Data Architect for a 6 month contract starting ASAP. This is part of a Greenfield project to optimise the business function using Big Data technologies.
The successful Data architect will be assisting with the delivery of a new Data store. Day to day activities will include: Designing the Data Architecture, advising on implementation strategies and customising the Big Data Architecture to suit client needs (eg number of date nodes required etc). Naturally, hands on experience with Hadoop implementation is essential.
This is a Greenfield project with a healthy rate, which will be moving quickly. Please apply if you are immediately available.
Key Skills:
- In depth knowledge of Spark
- Good communication skills to respond to user questions and advise on customisations
- Experience with noSQL platforms like Cassandra or MongoDB
- Hands on ELK experience (elastic search etc)
- AWS experience
- Kafka exsperince
