For a project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for aGerman speaking Senior Risk Analyst - Credit / Operational Risk (3668)
The successful candidate will join a team which plays a key role in maintaining an adequate risk governance process, defines the risk appetite, analyzes specific stress scenarios and evaluates capital adequacy. Additionally, the team ensures the consistency of the risk framework and stress testing with both the banks' global framework and local requirements / regulators.
Your qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in analytical risk functions in banking with focus on Credit or Operational Risk
- Knowledge in risk appetite, stress testing and regulatory submissions (Pillar II)
- Strong analytical thinking to pick up and adapt new concepts quickly and analyze implications
- Ability to produce high quality and accurate work to tight deadlines
- Strong team player with ability to work across different areas and engage key stakeholders
- Good organization and coordination skills
- Professional skills in MS Office, especially in Excel and Power Point
- Excellent German and English language skills
Your responsibilities:
- Support the development of risk frameworks, scenario concepts and projects
- Ensure alignment and appropriateness for various areas within the bank
- Define and document relevant processes, roles and responsibilities in terms of risk appetite framework operation and governance
- Work in close collaboration with global Risk and Front Office stakeholders
- Design appropriate stress testing and risk appetite reports and document their processes and formats
- Write stress testing and risk appetite policies and manuals covering process description, roles and responsibilities
- Support the setup and documentation of a holistic risk and scenario inventory
- Collaborate and coordinate stakeholders to discuss and assess scenario and risk appetite topics in regards to Credit and Operational Risk
- Define and set up relevant processes in regards to risk framework operation and governance to ensure timely and conclusive definition and reporting of key risks and risk appetite limits
