Description
PHP / Front End Developer - Remote / ManchesterMy client based in South Manchester and create software for events for their clients, in the form of mobile apps and web based systems.
They have 3 main internal projects which require a strong PHP developer / Front End developer.
Usually, they outsource a lot of their development projects, but would prefer a contractor to become more integrated into the team.
The role will be 50/50 - half PHP/LAMP back-end development using Symfony2 as a framework, and half front-end development - HTML and CSS.
The client are based in South Manchester, but the majority of the work can be done from home.
Key Skills:
- Good, commercial experience with PHP and the LAMP stack.
- Good experience with MVC's - Symfony2 would be ideal but others will be considered
- HTML
- CSS
- jQuery/Javascript experience would be advantageous
Contract Location: The 1st week of the contract will be in their offices, afterwards they are happy for you to do the majority remotely.
Contract Duration: 3-4 weeks initially with potential extensions
Contract Rate: £200 - £250 per day dependant on experience
This is an urgent requirement and interviews will be taking place next week.
