The i-PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Programme Teams are responsible for delivering a programme of business improvements through business process re-engineering and technical tool delivery. The Core Visualisation team is part of the PLM Product Creation group that is responsible for delivering intuitive best-in-class geometric visualisation tools within the Dassault toolsets for assessing and improving vehicle and component compatibility.

The Support Engineer will support the enhancement of our client's technical capability with visualisation solutions such as 3DLive and Catia composer to improve the efficiency, quality, and speed of the virtual vehicle assessment across the product creation community. The role will include supporting the engineering and design community to develop the skills needed for enhanced and efficient 3D virtual assessment.
Newly Graduated Mechanical Engineer (or related subjects) who are interested in a profession in Product Development in Automotive will be considered.
Key responsibilities:
- Working across multiple disciplines in a project driven environment.
- To support projects that implement visualisation tools within the next generation toolsets.
- Provide end user support for deployed solutions
- Identify opportunities for improving utilisation/adoption of visualisation tools and methods particularly by working with our business customers.
- Develop training material for visualisation methods and give at elbow user support during rollout.
- Work with the Product Development expert users to improve the adoption of visualisation tools & techniques.
The successful candidate should possess or have experience of the following:
- An understanding of 3D visualisation requirements.
- Experience of executing CAD or Visualisation activities within a PDM-managed environment is desirable.
- Experience with specific visualisation tools such as 3DLive, V6 Catia composer, or Vismockup is desirable
- Experience of Dassault Systemes Enovia V6 is desirable.
- Experience in software testing, verification, and deployment would be an advantage.
- A good disciplined approach to documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in the automotive industry in the Product Development domain would be an advantage.
