Role - UX Designer
Duration - 9 months
Location - Edinburgh
Programme & Project Overview
- The role will involve creating user centred designs based on user stories and branding guidelines in order for a third party supplier to progress the build of the new digital websites.
Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables
Responsibilities include:
- Execute UX design work that adheres to best practice brand and consistency standards
- Ensure creative and UX coherence across the digital estate
- Maintain and update any specific online brand guidelines, principles, templates and assets where appropriate
- Practice and promote contemporary UX thinking by investigating emerging design, UX and technology trends
- Use customer-driven insights and agile methodologies to deliver elegant and delightful customer experiences
- Collaborate and create visual design and strategy for prototyping and pilot efforts
- Translate business requirements into (lo or hi-FI) visual concepts and prototypes to be used in testing
- Create interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize task flows
- Work with the business to identify opportunities through customer research and interaction data
Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience of same/similar position across a number of digital channels
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Industry best practice and awareness on channel analytical tools and processes
- Previous experience of developing Digital Consumer focussed web propositions, translating Strategy into action
