Content Editor - Multi-Lingual - Polish and English
Leading travel and mobility company requires a multi-lingual content editor who is capable of producing and translating content in Polish and English.
The Digital Sales & Marketing division of this leading travel/mobility company is accountable for all traffic to the sites (web, mobile web and apps), the conversion of these visitors into sales, and the digital retention and loyalty of these customers to generate repeat sales, across multiple in-house brands. The EMEA division is re-developing its digital capabilities, across web, mobile sites, mobile apps, and messaging; for both brands across EMEA.
This role reports directly to the Head of Digital Content, to:
- Support the content managers in all aspects of content migration and content delivery for the Polish website.
- Assist with audits of existing content, and other migration planning tasks.
- Work with teams in the local market to understand their requirements, and support them through the site migration process.
- Write, edit and review content across the Polish website, ensuring content is on brand and grammatically correct.
- Ensure pages are optimised for both search engine traffic and on-page conversion.
- Help to ensure smooth transfer and migration of all relevant content (may include SEO - meta tags, links, etc., with help of an external SEO agency).
- Support translation of English content into Polish and Polish content into English.
- Review and test sites before launch to ensure all links, navigation etc is working and all site content is on brand and fit for purpose.
- Update content across digital channels where there is no central/local resource to do so.
Essential Experience
- Experience of copy editing or copywriting for the web.
- Content management experience.
- Search Engine Optimisation experience.
- Understanding of online publishing and editing tools
- Fluent Polish and English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing/proof-reading skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
