Client is looking for accomplished Support Engineer-Oracle SGD
Candidate should have 10+ years of experience.
Deliverables:
OSGD Support, Application Monitoring and Incident Management
Responsibilities:
- Good hands on experience on Oracle Secure Global Desktop.
- Hands on experience with Solaris 8, 9 and 10. ZFS, Zones, Jumpstart, DNS, LDAP.
- Candidate should know the basics of Storage and Networking. Should have good troubleshooting skills.
- Coordinate and drive the day to day BAU support related resolution for SGD Application, which include resolving issues or coordinate with relevant stakeholders to get issues resolved, mainly for components like - OSGD, AM and IDM components.
- Hands on experience on Java, JSP, JDBC, SQL.
- Create/Maintain service dashboard for monitoring and reporting purposes. Must possess excellent Scripting skills for reporting and monitoring automation.
- Application monitoring/alerting, performance monitoring, drive/coordinate for immediate workaround for any major incident, Setting proactive alerts, Capacity trend & KPI monitoring, Sunrise checks, Review Change impact
- Drive & coordinate for the Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Drive service improvement initiatives.
- The Support will be provided during UK Business Hours between Monday Friday. There would be 24X7 on-call support based on call out from Incident Management/Ops Bridge for major incident (Critical, High & Medium).
- Experience in demonstrating, piloting and deploying virtualized desktop architectures. Hands on experience on VMware.
- Highly motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner with the ability to deliver under pressure
