Responsibilities:
- Principally the role will involve developing and maintaining an Application and Infrastructure Architecture; leading application and infrastructure conceptual and logical design and representing IT teams within the Transformation Team and reporting to Head of Technology and Central Transformation Team.
- Develop an Application & Infrastructure Architecture complimentary to the enterprise's application and data architecture. This will include owning the Technology components of the Technical Reference Model; creating and maintaining application & infrastructure specific architectural principles; building infrastructure design patterns.
- Worked in functional areas such as Utility (desirable Energy) Telecom, Enterprise Applications (ERP, Asset management via public or private sector as part of the large-scale transformation programme.
- Qualified as TOGAF Practitioner and possessing knowledge of frameworks such as Zachman, DAMA DMBOK, ISO8001 and IS27001.
- Capability of modelling data at abstract, conceptual, logical and physical levels
- Experience of working with commercially recognised enterprise architecture mapping tools like ARIS, Enterprise Architect and language like Archimate.
- Minimum of 5 experience of working within complex and large organisations/landscapes

- Good level of commercial awareness and experience of working with multiple solutions service providers
- Excellent understanding of the interactions between people, processes and technology
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with the ability to manage and influence a network of technical staff not in her/his direct reporting lines
- Good consulting and relationship management skills and an ability to work comfortably at all levels of the organization
- Act as an enabler of business change to ensure projects support the business strategy and goals
- Ability to coach and mentor staff to develop technical architecture skills
- Confident, pro-active individual with a can do' attitude
- A broad, enterprise-wide view of business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
