I’m running a WordPress site with Gravity Forms plug-in, and I have 7 forms and 12 users with different roles overall.I have multiselect field in every single form. The users need to find and select numerous choices out of 500 options in multiselect field. The choices are like senteces. The user also need to add additional option if there’s no such a applicable choice from the list. So there must be a “Add New” button or “Press Enter to Add” option in this new field design.
The options would be managed as posts in a custom post type and “new” entries would be saved as well so the new choices are available for future use.
The UI will be designed as like as the pictures provided below, and you have to send me mockups that will show exactly how it will work before development begin so we can ensure we’re on the same page with everything.
The customization would be done through a small stand-alone plugin that you I just upload and install on my WordPress installation.
