Description

Mandatory Skills:

-Excellent understanding of the key IBM WebSphere integration technologies (e.g. WebSphere MQ, Message Broker, DataPower). -Excellent working knowledge of the different WebSphere Message Broker versions (v6.1, v7, IIB v9).

-You have experience using tools such as rfhutil, rfhutilc, SOAPUI, Message Broker Toolkit, MB / MQ Explorer, etc. -Predominantly experienced in using the eSQL language when developing message flows in WMB.

-Good understanding of the various messaging Domains (XML, XMLNSC, MRM, TDS, etc.) and Message Broker Nodes.

-Experience working in an SAP based environment and are familiar with SAP Adapter integration (e.g. iDoc, BAPI).

-Competent in working with different protocols and standards such as HTTP, MQ, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, etc.

-Good practical experience in designing and developing for Batch and Event based scenarios.

-You are able to follow development guidelines, standards and best practices (e.g. team process, technical) and when relevant willing to improve and evolve over time.

-Sound understanding of WMQ (v7, 7.5) and hands on experience in creating MQ objects using scripts.

-You have experienced in turning requirements into technical design and documenting them to a high standard.

-You have extensive experience in developing and testing integration solutions according to specification and are able to release and handover to the relevant support teams as appropriate.

-You are able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems using the above mentioned technologies and are analytical and proactive in your approach.

-You are articulate, an excellent communicator and team player.

Desirable:

-Has worked with IBM technologies on multiple platforms, preferably on Windows and Linux RHEL based environments.

-Experience using UNIX based commands and UNIX shell scripting.

-Good understanding of SOA Principles, ESB's and is aware of the different integration patterns available.

-Has a firm grasp of the various character encodings and identifiers used in industry and the different conversion techniques that are available.

-DataPower configuration and WSRR knowledge and experience would be an advantage.

-Good understanding of development methodologies and is able to easily adapt to different organisations and industry sectors.
