Senior Electronic Design Engineer

An Electronic design engineer is required to join a leading technology company based in Birmingham, who specialise in the RnD sector. The company are looking to bring their development in-house, and this would be to replace a team member to help lead the software and electronics design.
Role: Senior Electronic Design Engineer
Salary: upto £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Location: Birmingham
The Role:
* Responsible for the hardware aspects of design and the successful integration with all software management systems.
* Liaising with customers, suppliers, sales and installation teams as well as all in-house staff.
* Improve efficiency of the hardware design process, including fully testing and control of releases.
* Leading hardware design reviews as required to review ideas and schemes from other engineers and contractors.
Key Skills:
* Commercial experience in brushed d.c, brushless, stepper
* Understanding of PCB layout and working with external PCB companies
* Electronic Design - Analogue/Digital on electric vehicles devices
* Good customer facing skills
* Degree or equivalent in software engineering or a relevant discipline
Desirable Skills:
* ISO 26262
* Real Time Systems
