SCCM System Engineer - Luxembourg
Languages: ENGLISH only
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor or master degree in computer science or similar by experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position, particularly with SMS 2007
- Have also a good knowledge of SCCM2012 (able to prove this through previous projects in large and complex environments)
- MCSE knowledge level ), specializing in SMS/SCCM
- A good knowledge of large MS infrastructure in general (A ctive Directory, Windows Servers, Monitoring [MOM, SCOM, etc.), Security, Deployment [SMS, SCCM, etc.), Virtualization (App-V), Terminal Service (Citrix)
- Scripting experience: WMI, PowerShell, VBScript ( PowerShell Scripting experience required to automate processes and tasks)
- Good knowledge of Service Delivery, ITIL processes and project management methodologies
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience within a financial organization is an advantage
- Able to write/adapt scripts and developments (PHP, XML, PowerShell, SQL, etc.)
- Experience with provisioning tools
- Service minded, analytical, proactive, accurate and are solution driven
- A good technical writer
- Able and willing to write procedure and documentation
- Aware of security concerns and practices
Description of work:
- Monitoring and follow-up to maintain the SCCM 2007&2012 environment healthy & performing, with respect with the quality indicators
- Resolve incidents and problems, and introduce changes in order to optimize the technical infrastructures
- Document the common management tasks
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and analyse research required and ability to define incident root cause in a complex environment for SMS and SCCM infrastructure
- Software Distribution, Software Metering, Software Update Management
- Involved in projects and work on releases deployment
- SMS/SCCM architecture design, security, deployment solutions
- Take care of SCCM: performance tuning, storage, backup, high availability and disaster recovery aspects
