Description

In Service Engineer D - MoD Sea King

An In Service Engineer D with Sea King Safety Assessment experience is required to work on a 6 month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our government agency client based in Yeovil, Somerset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the platform safety manager in all aspects of updating and maintaining the Sea King Safety Assessment and conducting mandatory safety recording, reporting, analysis and updates.
  • Maintain the suite of Sea King Safety Management tools, databases and documentation, assuring the TAA via the Platform Safety Manager that all information is up to date.
  • Carry out mandatory safety reporting, including the completion of ASSERT return and monitoring all ASIMS occurrences and SESORs to ensure that Sea King inputs are completed.
  • Conduct and administrate Safety activity including Hazard Identification and assessment and Hazard Risk Management processing, classification and ALARP assessment.
  • Support project managers by assisting and advising on safety activity requirements for their project activities.
  • Produce the necessary documentation in support of the above to the required standard as specified in the MAA Regulatory Publications.
  • Conduct PT CAMO surveillance and liaison activity to assure the TAA-managed equipment Safety Assessment.

Liaison and management of CAMO/Duty Holder Tasks and CAME requirements. Manage the review and logging of ASIMS data into the Sea King software tools Acting as secretary to the raft of SKPT Safety Meetings
