Description

An exciting opportunity for a Web Technical Specialist is available in the historic city of Luxembourg.
This position is offered for a long term period, initially until the end of the year.

Nature of the tasks:

  • Software Management and Customization
  • Provide and maintain CMS
  • Research technical solutions
  • Deliver presentations and technical/user training
  • Manage the development and implementation of information systems (proposals, plan, definition, risk, quality, reports, follow up)
  • Manage the change control procedure
  • Provide effective leadership for the project team
  • Requirements analysis; Process and Datamodelling; Prototyping
  • Production of technical/user documentation

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

Technical expertise:

  • University degree of at least 3 years
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years
  • Assistance and development in the field of Internet, Intranet and mobile technologies
  • Social Networking, blogs, wikis, video sharing sites, hosted services, mash ups and folksonomies techniques
  • Data sharing, enterprise and community
  • Knowledge Management (CMS and company portals) and process management (BPM, workflow)
  • Knowledge of PM methodology and usage of tools
  • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies
  • Enjoy working in an Agile Environment
  • Solid experience of IT development: J2EE, Web development, etc.
  • Very good knowledge of Front End technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript); of Back End technologies (Java/JEE) and of 3-tier architecture; of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility with progressive enhancement
  • Very good knowledge of REST and APIs
  • Experience writing code that interacts with a large, complex Back End

  • English and French (B level - CEF)
