Microgen Aptitude Developer - MAH/Oracle/Unix/Tuning
A leading Investment Bank is currently seeking to hire a Microgen Developer to implement and integrate an Accounting Rules Engine (Microgen), for the calculation and generation of Accounting journals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on Microgen Aptitude, with knowledge of Microgen Accounting Hub (MAH), also known as OST.
- Provide Oracle expertise for development activities
- Train colleagues in development and deployment of Aptitude and MAH
- Provide out of hours support to the production batch with a focus on Oracle a performance tuning
Skills
- Strong experience in Microgen Aptitude version 3 (OST)
- Strong experience with MAH (OST)
- Oracle development techniques
- Strong experience in investigating and tuning Oracle performance issues
- Detailed knowledge of the cost based optimizer with Oracle 10/11.
- Strong experience in SQL query writing, including ANSI SQL
- UNIX experience including script generation
- Experience in iterative development
- Experience working in a banking environment
