Proteus Europe is searching for a Solution Architect for a contract role with our clients based in Brussels, Belgium -Our Client :-
Our client is based in the aviation sector and are a leading expert in their field
Your New role :-
- Develop, maintain and support the SCM system (Software Configuration Management) and the implemented processes supporting the software development of the system and the customer's program.
- Participate to projects related to the selection and deployment of new tools in the Software Development Environment
- Support COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) and tools integration into the Software Development Environment for the above mentioned system and program.
- Support developers using the development environment and tools.
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Working experience with Linux
- Familiar with Java technology and related tools (maven, Jenkins, eclipse)
- Solid experience of GIT and/or Gerrit
- Solid experience of Gradle (groovy scripting)
- Experience of Python scripting
- Experience of container technology (Docker)
- Experience of orchestration tool (Ansible)
- Good understanding of Agile methodology
- Good understanding of Development-to-production lifecycle practice (DevOps)
Desirable Skills :-
- Be a team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a service-oriented attitude with good problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a changing environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple priorities.
Nice to haves:
- Good level in Shell scripting (sh or ksh)
- Perl scripting experience
- Experience with HP ALM
- Experience with open source software related to DevOps practice
