The Role - GIS Developer
Work on a technically complex and innovative digital transformation project. Work with Technical Architects to develop and implement elegant, flexible designs. Provide hands-on technical skills in the development, operation and ongoing improvement of complex transformational digital services.
The Candidate
- Experience of developing user centred, enterprise scale and distributed software solutions
- Experience of the full software development life cycle using structured and Agile approaches
- Understanding of enterprise level architecture
- Central government
- GIS technologies (including ESRI, OpenLayers, Leaflet, PostGIS and GeoServer)
- Open source platforms and languages (including JavaScript, AngularJS, Java and Python), and open standards (including open-standards based REST web services)
- Database technologies (including leading COTS and NoSQL technologies)
- Agile Experience
