LOCATION - NORWAY
CONTRACT - 6 WEEKS
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Deep knowledge of OpenVMS platforms, sub-systems and application architecture.
- Experience with platform migration from Alpha to Itanium or similar platforms.
- Application is developed in Basic, database is Rdb.
- We expect that applications can be migrated without code changes, but this will have to be assessed.
- LANGUAGE - Scandinavian and/or English
DUTIES/ROLES :
- Analysis and design for new target environment and development of migration project plan.
- Platform migration from OpenVMS (7.3) on Alpha to OpenVMS 8.4 on Itanium I4. System is running one large mission critical application.
